River Fishing in France

Enjoy the peace and quiet and superb scenery while you fish from the garden which has private river access. 

The weir is situated at the top end of our grounds, whilst the lower end of our garden offers a slower flow meaning a wide variety of fish can be caught. 

The river hosts Carp in excess of 30lbs, there also large Pike and Catfish in these waters.

Other notable catches are Bream, Zander, Perch, Black Bass and good sized Roach.

Trout can be caught when in season.

Licenses can be purchased locally approx 20 euros per week. Bait and tackle are also available nearby.

 Your license will also enable you to fish other waters within the region of Deux Sevres.

There is a 14 foot fibre glass boat available for use free of charge

This holiday is self catering, however there are many good restaurants locally, a large supermarket is within 5 minutes drive.

From the cottage the village bar is only 100 metres away, here you can mix with the locals and drink to your success !!
